Gyan Kunj Sr Sec School is a unit of N.G.O. AHD Council, Loharu. It was established in 2004. The then Education Minister of Haryana Hon'ble Sh. Bahadur Singh Ji inaugurated this school. It is first English Medium Science school providing education up to 12th standard. Around the year 2004 there is no any English Medium Science school in Loharu arena. The brilliant students of Loharu had to drop their study after 10th or had to study only Arts education after Matric. Few students of rich families could continue their science study in far and costly cities of Bhiwani, Mahendergarh or Pilani.
Realizing this critical and hazardous educational conditions of the future of our Loharu our founder Mr. Sushil Sharma decided to establish this school in 2004 with the motivation and inspiration of his father educationalist and propagator of Indian Systems of Medicines great devoted hon'ble Vaidya Sh. Deep Chand ji Gaur. Mr. Sushil Sharma requested the then MLA and Education Minister Ch. Bahadur Singh Ji for this school. And it is very grateful and thankful to Ch. Bahadur Singh Ji that he not only granted us the recognition up to 12th standard but also helped us in propagation of education in this area. We and our students are heartily thankful to him.
Thereafter many students became doctors, I.I.Tians,, Scientists, Professors, teachers, lawyers etc by getting study from this school.
We also pay thanks to General of Indian Army Retd. Sh. V.K. Singh Ji, former M.P. Mrs. Shruti Ji, Sh. Jagdeep Singh Ji, I.A.S. to be the hon'ble Guest of our school and to motivate us to propagate education in this backward area of Loharu.
